It is certainly a major work of the artist group of St. Luke and St. Maurice founded in 1919. Its members refused to go back to the baroque part of the early Christians. The architecture of the building is so intimately linked to the artists who decorated it, that it was out of the question to betray their founding style*.
OUR LADY OF THE ASSUMPTION
The church is dedicated to Finhaut Our Lady of the Assumption. Thus the symbol "M" of Mary is painted above the columns of the nave, but also forged in the gates and metal supports, carved on the tops of benches and the pulpit. The "M" is still present in the center of the windows of the north facade.
The major works of the church is a triptych painted on the north side of the aisle and the window of Christ the King, which overlooks the entrance. The church has a beautiful coffered ceiling. After voluntarily entering the dark, gold, red and blue fill the entire space. They mingle on the walls of the choir to give an impression of infinity.
