The Châtelard Attraction Park

The Châtelard Attraction Park is located 23 km from Martigny and 19 km from Chamonix. It offers three unique rail attractions:
  • The steepest 2-cabin funicular in the world (87% gradient)

  • The small panoramic Decauville train, on a scenic “balcony” track looking out over the Mont Blanc chain 

  • The mini-funicular linking the Pied du Barrage (Base of the Dam) terminus of the panoramic railway with the Lac d'Emosson station, which overhangs the top of the Emosson dam by 30 metres

  • These attractions form a unique park in the imposing landscape of the Mont Blanc massif.
