Inscriptions - Intercultural Exchange Weekend – AFS

Since 1946, AFS has been giving students the opportunity to spend a year abroad on an intercultural exchange.

On October 4–5, Finhaut will welcome young students who have recently started their exchange year in Switzerland, along with their host families and the Swiss volunteers supporting them. The goal is to help them discover our region and culture through encounters with you!

Program:

Saturday, 10.04

10:53 AM: Meet at the base of the funicular, Le Châtelard VS, village

Around 12:15 PM: Picnic at Emosson (bring your own picnic)

1:00 PM: Hike and exploration of VerticAlp. Return to Finhaut around 4:00 PM

5:00–6:30 PM: Aperitif at Vaticamp 1

6:30–7:00 PM: Dinner with host families in Finhaut. Return around 9:00 PM

Sunday, 10.05

8:00 AM: Breakfast at Vaticamp

Around 12:30 PM: Lunch at Le Central

We invite all residents of Finhaut to participate in one or more activities with the students. For those interested, we are looking for locals willing to invite a young student, their host family, and a Swiss volunteer for dinner at home (3–5 people).
